Why does a pair of fuzzy dice look so perfect dangling from the rear-view mirror of a classic car?
Did You Know: The very first fuzzy dice were hung above the instruments of World War II fighter jets. Those days it was particularly dangerous for our flyboys, as allied forces were losing over 150 planes a day. Before a mission, a pilot would arrange the pips to read 4 and 3 -- lucky number 7. And it must've worked, because the tradition survived the trip back to the states, where fuzzy dice were hung over a different instrument: automobiles. In the 1950s, fuzzy dice became the very first item specifically manufactured to be hung from a car's rearview mirror, and the popularity of this trend exploded in the 70s and 80s. The rest is history!
These six-sided dice are soft and furry, 3" square, and shaped by squishy but resilient foam. Available in five showy colors with contrasting pips, each pair is connected by an 11.5" nylon string.
